Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has indicated that the salaried class may have tax relief in next budget (2015-16). Response to BBC’s SMS, the finance minister said that the government has increased the minimum salary from Rs 10000 to Rs 12,000.Be in mind that the govt. has increased the salary of civil servants by 10 percent in the new budget but with no relief in tax, some of the employees would only get benefit of five to six percent. It is the salaried class in Pakistan which pays maximum taxes.
